THERE'S A HUMAN
INSIDE.

Human connection became the internet's missing layer. Jamme puts it back.

STRANGERS BECOME FRIENDS · 2026
01 — WHAT SOCIAL BECAME

Today's social media is no longer social.

It has become an influencer economy. An advertising marketplace. An attention machine.

When was the last time you genuinely met someone who shared your wavelength… and became friends over a coffee? Probably not because of social media. That's exactly why Jamme exists.

We believe the internet has slowly forgotten the human. Social platforms solved distribution. They solved entertainment. They solved virality. But they forgot connection. People still use these platforms, but mostly because they serve a specific purpose — not because they make us feel socially connected anymore.

Convenience came at the cost of privacy. Connectivity came at the cost of closeness.

The world is connected more than ever. Yet we've never felt more alone.

01 — WHAT SOCIAL BECAME

The feeds we grew up on grew into something else.

Facebook became a place people gradually stopped caring about. Instagram became an endless marketplace of ads, brands, and curated perfection. X (formerly Twitter) became a battlefield of opinions and propaganda. Snapchat lost much of its original intimacy. Dating apps became transactional instead of meaningful. Even WhatsApp, once our private messaging space, is slowly becoming another channel competing for our attention.

02 — THE RACE

Somewhere in that race, we're losing what makes us human.

As humans work harder to compete with machines… machines are becoming better at imitating humans.

A tap on the shoulder. A warm conversation. A reassuring smile. A hug when someone needs one. Those tiny moments that no algorithm can replace.

03 — THE COST

Loneliness is no longer a personal problem.

It's becoming a global public health crisis — and governments have started responding.

South Korea has committed hundreds of millions of dollars to combat loneliness, social isolation, and “lonely deaths” (Godoksa). New York is seeing a growing movement toward digital-detox cafés, community spaces, and offline social experiences.

The world is realizing something we've known all along. Human connection is becoming the internet's missing layer.

04 — OUR ANSWER

Jamme exists to put that layer back.

We're not obsessed with Daily Active Users. We're not chasing Monthly Active Users. Success for us isn't measured by how long someone stays glued to the screen. Our dream is the opposite.

Someone opens Jamme. Meets an amazing human. Walks away from the phone. Grabs a coffee. Goes for a walk. Builds a friendship. Creates memories that never needed a screen.

If people spend less time inside Jamme because they're spending more time with real people — that's success.

05 — BEYOND THE APP

We're building real-world human spaces.

Imagine walking into a café and seeing a Jamme Table. Or a Jamme Bench in a park — designed in Jamme’s warm colours. If someone chooses to sit there alone, it’s a gentle signal: “I’m open to a conversation.” “No pressure.” “No judgment.” “Just human.”

Maybe they need motivation. Maybe they had the best day of their life. Maybe they just need someone to listen. Maybe they simply need a hug.

Sometimes changing someone’s day begins with saying, “Hi.”

06 — EVERYDAY LIFE

8h work. 8h sleep. 8h — now reality begins.

Traffic. Household chores. Cooking. Errands. Bills. Maybe a second job. By the time everything is finished, your “Me Time” has shrunk to one or two hours. And what do most of us do? Scroll endlessly. Watch another episode. Play another game. Argue with strangers online. Swipe through dating apps hoping to find someone.

The device has quietly replaced human interaction.

Jamme doesn't want more engagement with the device. We want the device to disappear into the background. Like an old cordless phone. Like a pager. Like a Kindle.

Technology shouldn't become your life. It should quietly help you live it.

07 — SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE

“I’m here.”

Imagine someone who has just moved to New York. Or London. Or Hyderabad. Or Seoul. Thousands of people arrive every day chasing dreams — a better career, a fresh start, a new chapter. But slowly, life becomes a cycle of rent, direct debits, deadlines, and survival.

One evening they receive a promotion. Nobody is there to celebrate. Another evening they go through a breakup. Nobody is there to comfort them. Parents live in another country. Different time zones. Friends are busy building their own lives.

That night, Jamme becomes the place where someone, somewhere in the world simply replies, “I’m here.”

Sometimes that's enough. Sometimes that's priceless.

08 — WHO IT'S FOR

Built for people who still believe in depth over performance.

Introverts. Poets. Creators. Thinkers. Listeners. People who would rather write than perform.

Who choose privacy over popularity. Voice over vanity. Authenticity over aesthetics. Warmth over algorithms. Conversation over content.

The feeling we want Jamme to create is familiar: the warmth of hugging your grandparents. The comfort of sitting beside your favourite person. The calmness of having your pet quietly beside you. That is the emotion we're designing.

09 — WHAT WE'RE NOT · 10 — OUR PRINCIPLES

Helping humans find humans.

We aren't trying to re-invent social media, or replace Meta, WhatsApp, Instagram or TikTok. We're solving the one problem they never intended to: helping humans find humans. Not audiences. Not followers. Not customers. People.

01 Human before algorithm. 02 Conversations before content. 03 Authenticity before aesthetics. 04 Friendship before followers. 05 Privacy before popularity. 06 Connection before consumption.

11 — JAMME v0.1
